Cardinal Rowers Victorious Over Notre Dame And Indiana

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The University of Louisville women's rowing team continued its success in its inaugural season as the Cardinals won all three races Saturday in Notre Dame, Ind.
Louisville defeated Indiana by more than a minute to capture the Novice Four race with a time of 8:43.90.
The Cards raced to another first-place finish in the First Novice Eight race with a time of 6:46.70, beating Notre Dame (6:53.10) by seven seconds. Indiana (7:04.10) placed third.
In a closer race, the Cardinals edged the Fighting Irish again to win the Second Novice Eight event. Louisville finished with a time of 7:27.20, followed by Notre Dame at 7:31.40 and Indiana at 7:35.50.
The Cardinals, who won three of four races at Rollins in their first spring regatta last weekend, travel to Columbus next Saturday to race Ohio State.
