2021-22: Violette Legrand rowed in the the V8+ boat that posted a time of 14:08.9 and in the V4 boat that finished with a time of 15:34.43 at the Rivanna Romp. She was on the 2V8 boat that beat Notre Dame with a time of 6:33.002 on Day 1 at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational. On Day 2 of the ORCI, she rowed on the V8 boat that finished third with a time of 6:33.270. At the Sunshine State Invitational, she was in the V8 boat that finished sixth in the grand final with a time of 6:35.74. At the Lake Wheeler Invitational, she helped the V8 boat to finish second with a time 6:41.725. In head-to-head competition with Michigan, she was on the V8 boat that turned in a time of 6:57.22. At the ACC Championships held at Clemson in 2022, she was in the V8 boat that finished sixth in the grand final with a time of 6:36.284. An outstanding student, she was named to the ACC All-Academic team. She is a member of the AD Honor Roll and the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2020-21: In the COVID-shortened season, Violette rowed in the V8 boat at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational, the V8 boat versus Notre Dame, the V8 at the Big Ten Invitational, and she was in the V8 boat against Michigan/Iowa. She was on the V8 boat at ACCs that won the Petite Final. An excellent student, she was a member of the Athletic Director's Honor Roll, was Red & Black Scholar, and was a Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 Dean's Scholar. She is also a CRCA Scholar Athlete and belongs to Chi Alpha Sigma a nonprofit organization established to recognize college student-athletes who excel both on and off the field of competition.
