2021-22: Madeline Dodd was in the 2V8 boat that crossed the finish with a time of 14:45.5 as well as in the 2V4 that stopped the clock at 16:23.3 at the Rivanna Romp. She rowed on the 2V8 boat that beat Notre Dame with a time of 6:33.002 on Day 1 at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational. On Day 2 at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational, she rowed in the 2V8 boat that finished third with a time of 6:47.026. At the Sunshine State Invitational, she rowed on the 2V8 boat that won silver in the grand final with a time of 6:36.70. At the Lake Wheeler Invitational, she helped the 2V8 boat to a second place finish with a time of 6:50.592. In head-to-head competition with Michigan, she was on the 2V8 boat that turned in a time of 7:03.78. At the ACC Championships at Clemson, she was in the 2V8 boat that finished sixth in the grand final with a time of 6:51.290. She is a member of the AD Honor Roll and the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

2020-21: In the COVID-shortened season, Maddy rowed V4 versus Notre Dame, 2V8 at the Big Ten Invitational, 2V8 at Mich/Iowa regatta. She was on the V4 boat at ACCs that finished sixth in the Grand Final. A strong student, Maddy made the Athletic Director's Honor Roll, was Red & Black Scholar, was named to the Fall 2020 Dean's List, and is part of Chi Alpha Sigma a nonprofit organization established to recognize college student-athletes who excel both on and off the field of competition. She is also a CRCA Scholar Athlete. She was named to the ACC Honor Roll and All-ACC Academic.

2018-19: Competed in in six events … Rowed in the F8+, 2V4+, and V4+ boats … Finished second at the Head of the Hooch in the F8+ … Finished third at the ACC Championship in the V4+ petite final.

Prior to UofL: Rowed for Saratoga Rowing Association for six years … Placed fourth twice at Head of the Charles in varsity eight … Placed first at SRAA Nationals in varsity eight (2018), lightweight double (2016) and freshman eight (2015) … Earned first place at Royal Canadian Henley in U17 eight, U23 lightweight eight and U23 lightweight straight four.

Personal: Daughter of Tom and Amy Dodd … Majoring in health and human performance.
