2014-15: Closed spring in the third varsity eight boat and earned a second-place finish at the ACC Championship… Rowed in the varsity four boat for a win at the Clemson Invitational… Was also in the V4+ at Michigan… Competed in the second varsity eight boat in victories at the ACC/Big Ten Challenge and the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational… Was also in the 2V8+ boat at the Oregon State Classic.

Prior to UofL: Rowed for the Canottieri Firenze club in Italy… Won nine gold medals at Italian championships, silver medal at the Junior European championships, bronze medal at the Junior World champions and finished in ninth place at the U23 World Championships.

Personal: Born on August 31, 1995… Daughter of Fabrizio and Francesca Fossi… Has one sibling, Lorenzo… Majoring in psychology… Chose Louisville because the team feels like a family and it makes it easier to live far away from home.
