2012-13: Named Second Team All-Big East ...Spent entire spring in Cardinals' varsity eight boat ... Member of varsity eight crew that finished third at Big East Championship in West Windsor, N.J., and had wins over No. 14 Clemson, No. 19 Cornell, No. 20 Duke, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Minnesota, UCF, Tennessee, Rhode Island and Indiana at the Clemson Invitational ... Also had wins over West Virginia, Duke, Eastern Michigan and Miami at Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational.
2011-12: Spent the season rowing in the second varsity eight boat as well as the varsity four boat ... While in the 2V8 boat, crew had wins over Duke, Dayton, Alabama, Kansas and Georgetown... In the V4 boat, she helped crew earn a win over Georgetown ... Was a member of Cards' V4 crew which finished fourth at the BIG EAST Championship.
2009-11: Spent two seasons competing for the Louisville swimming and diving team in the sprint freestyle and backstroke prior to joining the Cardinals' rowing team.
Prior to UofL: Went to Rosary High School ... Sports played in high school were swimming (sprint freestyle and backstroke) ... Was a high school All-American, high school record holder, three-time High School state champion and junior national relay champion.
Personal: Born on Nov. 1, 1990, in Winfield, Ill. ... Daughter of Debby and Frank Savegnago ... Has one brother, Frank ... Pursuing her master's in public health in environmental/occupational health ... Post-college ambition has yet to be determined ... Hobbies and outside interests include swimming and cooking ... Says she chose the University of Louisville because of the people, competitive atmosphere, the facilities, and the city itself ... Says the best thing about the city of Louisville is the perfect sized campus, the people here, and the food ... Says the best thing about U of L rowing is her teammates and their attitudes, the coaching staff, and the amazing facility ... After graduation, she is not sure what she plans to do ...
