2007-08: Athletic Director's Honor Roll ... Spent most of her first season in the Cards' novice eight boat ... Closed the spring in the five-seat for the Cards' second-place N8+ finish at the BIG EAST Championships and the silver medal performance at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships ... Was also in the five-seat against Tennessee and Indiana ... After opening the fall in the second novice eight boat at the Head of the Eagle, she moved over to the novice eight crew for a fifth-place finish at the Head of the Hooch Regatta.
Prior to UofL: Rowed four years for the Clermont Crew under the direction of coach Pedro Palacios ... Finished third at Nationals in the 16 and under double, third in singles at the Midwest Championships ... Also ran cross country for three years, played two years of basketball and one year of volleyball at New Richmond High School.
Personal: Born Brittany Michelle Hall on Feb. 11, 1989 in Cincinnati, Ohio ... Daughter of Gail and Tim Hall ... Has one brother, Timmy ... Majoring in nursing at U of L ... Post-colege ambition is to be a nurse and a mom ... Chose the University of Louisville because of the location and rowing. She says she loves being close enough to go home on the weekends because she loves her family ... Says the best thing about the city is her friends ... Believes the people on the team are the best thing about Louisville rowing ... Favorite class is biology ... After graduation, she plans to be a nurse, a mom and maybe coach rowing ... Says her best race was the finals at Nationals as a prep ... If she could tell her incoming teammates one thing, it would be that it's going to be hard work. It will take a lot of time. Make sure your grades come first because in four years, college is over and then the real world begins.
