2005-06: Rowed in the four-seat of the Cards' Varsity 4+ boat, which finished second at the BIG EAST Championships and fifth in the "B" Final at the NCAA South/Central Region Sprints ... Rowed in the four-seat of the Cards' 2nd Varsity 8+ boat in the win over Minnesota on March 12 ... Also rowed in the 2nd Varsity boat against Tennessee, California and Wisconsin ... Dean's Scholar with a 4.0 GPA in 2005-06 ... Red & Black Scholar.
Prior to UofL: Competed for two years for the Barrie Rowing Club under the direction of head coach Kelly McCullough ... Was on the President's Honor Roll at Niagara College ... Graduated at the top of the class at Niagara in fitness and health promotions ... Received the Canadian Award of Excellence for academic achievement and leadership in the community ... Two-time recipient of the Lori Dunsmore Award for the embodiment of rowing ... Won silver medal at the Ohio Valley Indoor Regatta in 2005 ... Finished fourth at both the Canadian Indoor Regatta and the Ontario Indoor Regatta in 2004 ... Was team rugby MVP and won the coach's award for alpine racing ... She chose U of L because the Olympic sports receive a lot of attention, the training ethic of the team and because the professors in her major have articles published in journals ... Believes the best thing about the city of Louisville is the development along the river front and the diversity of Bardstown Road ...
