2007 Cross Country: Finished as the Cards' second runner in five of seven events ... Placed sixth out of 116 runners in the 8k course at the BIG EAST Championship to earn All-BIG EAST honors ... Was seventh of 200 runners to earn All-Region honors at the NCAA Southeast Regional ... Was 65th of 250 runners at the NCAA Championships ... Finished second out of 100 participants in the 8k at the Navy Invitational ... Earned a top seven finish in six of seven events in 2007.
2006-07: Competed in four outdoor events for the Cardinals ... Finished fifth in the 10000m at the BIG EAST Championsips with a time of 30 minutes, 01.55 seconds ... Best finish was second in the 3000m at the Baldy Castillo Invite with a personal best time of eight minutes, 28.65 seconds.
2006 Cross Country: Earned All-Region honors with an 11th-place finish at the NCAA Southeast Regional ... Won the Indiana 5K to open the season ... Earned Top 10 finishes at the UT Invitational and the Greater Louisville Classic.
2005-06: Finished fourth in the BIG EAST in the 10000m ... Was eighth in the 1500m at the Cardinal Invite and eighth in the 5000m at the Raleigh Relays ... Did not compete during the indoor season.
Prior to UofL: Competed two seasons for Lindenwood University where he won the 2004 and 2005 NAIA individual cross country national championship at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer Park in Louisville, Ky. ... Also was a member of Lindenwood's indoor national championship team. Top marks prior to joining UofL were 29:50 in 10,000m, 4:06 in mile, 23:35 in 8km, 3:52 in the 1,500m, 8:06 in the 3km and 64:20 in the 1/2 marathon.
High School: Primary events in at Kurgung High School in Kenya were 1,500m and 8km run.
