• Won the weight throw at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational with a season-best throw of 20.32m (66-8), while also finishing as the runner-up with a season-best mark of 17.89m (58-0.25) in the shot put at the same meet
• Made his Louisville debut at the Bellarmine Open after transferring from Indiana, finishing second in the weight throw with a mark of 19.98m (65-6.75)
