• Placed seventh with a toss of 16.37m (53-8.5) at the Music City Challenge

Outdoor:
• Competed at five meets in the shot put and discus throw
• Notched a personal-best mark of 15.83m (51-11.25) in the shot put to place second at the Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational, where he also recorded a mark of 46.76m (153-5) in the discus throw
• Set a personal record in the discus in his outdoor collegiate debut at the USF Alumni Invitational with a toss of 46.78m (153-5)
