High School:
• Captured the state title in the triple jump at the 2025 MSHSAA Class 5 State Championships
• 15-time All-State honoree over the course of her high school career in the 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles, long jump, and triple jump
• Became the first female in Missouri history to clear 20 feet in the long jump and 40 feet in the triple jump, owning personal bests of 6.15m (20-2.25) and 12.39m (40-7.75)

• Birthdate is March 18, 2007
• Majoring in psychology
• Parents are Derrick and Liz Peterson, both of whom competed in track & field collegiately at Missouri
• Father, Derrick, represented the United States in the men's 800m at the 2004 Athens Olympics
• Has one brother, Isaac Young, who competes on the track & field at North Carolina
• Also played volleyball in high school
• Hopes to work in psychology after graduating from college
• Hobbies include being outdoors, listening to music, and thrifting
• Chose UofL because of the welcoming community and the coaching staff
