Dani Klein is entering her third season as an assistant athletic trainer at University of Louisville, where she works with Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving.
Klein earned her BS in Kinesiology-Concentration Athletic Training in 2011 from Louisiana State University. She continued her education at Virginia Tech earning a master’s degree in Arts and Education in 2013. While a student at LSU she worked with Football, Swim and Dive, and the laboratory prep school on campus.
She was the first female to receive a summer internship with an NFL team having worked with the Buffalo Bills in 2010 and also served as the president of the student athletic training fraternity, Alpha Tau Sigma. While working on her master’s at Virginia Tech she was the graduate assistant athletic trainer for Men’s and Women’s Swim and Dive for two years. Both teams were Top 25 NCAA her two years and both runner-ups in the ACC 2013. Prior to joining the Louisville athletic training staff in December,
Klein worked for Louisiana Athletic Care based out of New Iberia, LA covering high schools in the area. A native of Eunice, LA, Klein is a certified athletic trainer by the NATABOC and is licensed through the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure. Klein resides in Louisville, KY.
