Gregg Enoch swims the 500 freestyle at NCAAs

2024-25: Gregg competed at the USA Swimming National Championships in Indianapolis with an 18^th place in the 200M IM (2:00.78) and was 24^th in the 200M free (1:49.31) and 30th in the 400M free. At the NCAA Championships in Federal Way, Washington, Gregg was 32^nd in the 200 fly (1:42.22), 44^th in the 500 free (4:19.87) and 30^th in the 400 IM (3:45.01). He was also on the 800 free relay with a time of 1:34.10 as the Cards touched 15^th for HM All-American honors. Gregg won a silver medal at the ACC Championships in Greensboro, N.C. with a time of 3:41.10 in the 400 IM. He won the B-final of the 500 free (4:15.53) and was 18^th in the 200 fly (1:43.07). In the dual meet season, against Indiana, he was third in the 400 IM with a time of 3:48.62. Against rival Kentucky, he was fifth in all three individual events with a time of 1:45.86 in the 200 fly, 4:25.89 in the 500 free and touched in 1:47.52 in the 200 IM. At Missouri, he was second in the 500 free (4:22.44) and scored a pair of thirds in the 200 fly (1:44.08) and the 400 IM (3:50.01). He won the 200 fly at the Ohio State Invitational, going 1:41.81. and was third in the 400 IM (3:41.96). Against Purdue, he won the 500 free (4:20.32) and was second in the 200 free (1:35.20). In the meet with Tennessee, he won the 200 IM, touching in 1:44.58 and was second in the 200 butterfly (1:43.28). At the SMU Classic, he won the 200 fly (1:43.14), was second in the 400 IM (3:43.62) and took third in the 500 free (4:23.03). Right before the season started, he represented Team USA at the Junior Pan Pacific Championships in Canberra, Australia where he won the 200M IM (2:00.58) and was second in the 200M freestyle (1:48.97).

Prep: Enoch joins the Cards from Carmel, IN. It was there where he swam for coach Chris Plumb and Carmel Swim Club. His most recent feat came at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials, where he made the final for the 400m IM and finished seventh. Gregg competed in the 500 yd free and 400 yd IM at the 2023 Speedo Winter East Championships, where he claimed gold along with Indiana State Records in both events. He also raced in four finals at the 2023 Speedo Junior National Championships (200 yd fly, 200 yd IM, 200 yd free and 400 yd IM) and placed second in the 200 yd fly. Enoch wrapped up his high school career by winning gold in both the 200 yd IM and 500 yd free at the 2024 IHSAA State Championship.
