Bio
Freshman: Farrington made a big impact during her debut season at Louisville. She qualified for the NCAA Championships, finishing 19th in the 100 breaststroke (59.50) and 48th in the 200 breaststroke (2:13.69). At the ACC Championships, she placed eighth in the 100 breaststroke (59.73), 11th in the 200 breaststroke (2:11.42), and 29th in the 200 individual medley (2:01.71). Throughout the abbreviated dual meet season, Farrington posted five top-6 finishes. She was the runner-up in the 100 breaststroke against Cincinnati, placed fifth in both breaststroke events against Kentucky, and took third in the 200 breaststroke as well as sixth in the 100 breaststroke versus Notre Dame.
Prep: Farrington comes to The Ville from Johns Creek, Georgia, where she did her club swimming with Dynamo Swim Club and SwimAtlanta. A former National Age Group Relay Record Holder, she placed fourth in the 200 breaststroke and seventh in the 100 breaststroke at Juniors East in 2019. The multi-time Junior and Senior National qualifier also finaled in the 100m breaststroke at the Toyota U.S. Open in 2019. During her high school career at Johns Creek High School, she won the 100 breaststroke at the Georgia 6A State Championships twice and set the overall state record in that event in 2017. Farrington, who earned both NISCA and USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors, holds best times of 1:01.00 in the 100 breaststroke, 2:12.35 in the 200 breaststroke, and 2:02.74 in the 200 individual medley.
