Senior Year in 2022-23

• Appeared in all 32 games with 25 starts, averaging 4.9 points and 4.3 rebounds while shooting 53.3% from the field
• Named one of three team captains in the preseason
• Scored in double figures six times during the season, including four consecutive games in December which included two Louisville wins
• Scored 13 points with a career-high 19 rebounds against Florida A&M on Dec. 17, the most rebounds by a Cardinal since Luke Whitehead grabbed 19 against Marquette on Jan. 31, 2004
Junior Year at Louisville in 2021-22
• Blossomed late in the season, averaging 17.6 points and 9.0 rebounds in his last five games while shooting 64.4 percent from the field (38-of-59).
• Achieved back-to-back double-doubles twice in his last four games, including 18 points and 11 rebounds at Virginia Tech; and 24 points, a career-high 14 rebounds and three assists while connecting on 9-of-13 field goals vs. Virginia on March 5.  He had three double-doubles for the season.
• Scored 165 points in his last 16 games after combining for 33 points over his first 12 games this season. He averaged 10.3 points and 5.9 rebounds over his last 16 games.
• Led the Cardinals in field goal percentage (.672; 88-of-131), and was the only UofL regular who shot above 50 percent.Â
• Grabbed at least six rebounds in 12 games, including eight of the last 11.
• Led the Cardinals with a career-high 28 points and seven rebounds at Wake Forest on Feb. 26, making 13-of-18 field goals.  It was the most for a Cardinal since Jordan Nwora finished with 37 at Boston College on Jan. 29, 2020.  Curry’s 13 field goals made (in 18 attempts) were the most by a Louisville player since Russ Smith finished 14-of-22 in a win over Houston in the AAC semifinals on March 14, 2014.  Â
• After missing UofL’s game at Pitt with an ankle injury suffered in practice on Jan. 13, Curry returned to total seven rebounds and a team-high 13 points against Boston College in his second start of the year.Â
• Produced his first double-double for the Cardinals with 22 points and 10 rebounds in 24 minutes against NC State on Jan. 12.  A junior college transfer, he had scored 33 total points in 12 games entering the game.
• Scored six points in six minutes off the bench vs. Wake Forest with two rebounds. Curry had not scored in the previous six games.
Junior College Career at John Logan
• Honored as the 2020-21 Great Rivers Athletic Conference Player of the Year when he averaged 12.9 points, 8.2 rebounds and shot 69.4 percent from the field to lead John A. Logan College to an 18-5 record and conference title.          Â
• Third-team 2021 NJCAA All-America selection in helping John A. Logan to the NJCAA Region 24 championship, a No. 12 ranking in the final NJCAA D1 Poll, and the school’s first appearance in the national tournament in six years.
• He had 14 double-figure scoring efforts in his 18 games as a sophomore and also grabbed seven or more rebounds on 14 occasions.
• Ranked as the No. 8 junior college prospect in the nation by 247Sports.
• As a freshman in 2020-21, Curry averaged 13.5 points, 8.3 rebounds and shot 73.9 percent from the field as John A. Logan posted a 28-5 record, a perfect 18-0 conference mark and was ranked eighth in the nation in the final 2019-20 NJCAA poll. He had 21 double-figure scoring efforts as a freshman and grabbed seven or more rebounds on 23 occasions.
• Earned recognition as the GRAC Freshman of the Year, was an All-GRAC selection and achieved NJCAA All-Region 24 honors in a year in when the pandemic did not permit a post-season tournament.
• Scored a career-high 27 points at Rend Lake College as a freshman and grabbed a season-best 17 rebounds at Land Lake College.
High School
• Before his junior college stint, Curry averaged 18.6 points,12.4 rebounds and 1.4 blocked shots per game as a senior at Northrop High School in Ft. Wayne.
• Named to the 2019 Indiana Basketball Coaches Association “Supreme 15” all-state team and was honored as the 2019 ABC21 Boys Basketball Player of the Year. He led the state of Indiana in offensive rebounds as a senior.
• Initially signed with Kanas in April before reopening his recruitment. He had chosen Kansas over Texas A&M, Maryland, Mississippi, Seton Hall and others.
