Sophomore: Howard appeared in two meets throughout the season for the Cards, including the IU Invitational where she competed in both the 100 breast and 200 IM. In the 100 breast, she recorded a season best time of 1:03.67. She also competed in both breaststroke events in the meet against Virginia.

Freshman: Joined the Cardinals as a member of the breaststroke squad in her freshman season. At the Louisville Invitational, she placed second in both the 100 and 200 breast. In the 100 distance, she posted a season-best time of 1:02.60 and recorded a time of 2:17.89 in the 200. Howard also competed at the TYR Pro Swim Series in Columbus, swimming the 100-meter fly (1:07.24), 200-meter breast (2:44.97), and 100-meter breast (1:16.01). At the Dennis Stark Relays, she swam in three different events, helping the Cards to an overall first place finish among the competing teams.

Prep: Howard joins the Cardinals after swimming for Cardinal Aquatics and coach Chris Landauer, where she swam in the 100 breast in the Junior Nationals. Under coach Amy Albiero at the Christian Academy of Louisville, she helped set a school record in the 200 medley relay, while also competing in the 100 breast, 200 free relay and 400 free relay. She holds best times of 1:03.10 in the 100 breast, 2:19.30 in the 200 breast and 2:05.60 in the IM.
