Cards Gear Up For Three-Match Homestand

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -Â The No. 44-ranked University of Louisville men's tennis team is slated for another three match-weekend at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.

The Cardinals (12-4, 2-0 ACC) are set to play their third Atlantic Coast Conference match of the season against the No. 35 Clemson Tigers on Friday, March 6, with first serve set for 5 p.m. On Sunday, March 8, the Cards will take on another ACC match up against No. 45 Georgia Tech at 12 p.m. before taking the court to face IU Indy at 5 p.m.

Louisville comes into the weekend riding a 3-0 home winning streak, highlighted by victories over two ranked ACC opponents in No. 58 Miami Hurricanes, 4-3, and No. 45 Florida State Seminoles, 4-2, along with a non-conference shutout against Southern Indiana, 4-0.
The Cards were one of five teams to have a perfect start to ACC play, alongside No. 3 Virginia, No. 4 Wake Forest, No. 16 Notre Dame and No. 23 NC State.Â
Out of 16 teams with men's tennis programs in the ACC, 14 of them are ranked in the latest ITA team poll with five in the top 25. Louisville's ranking of No. 44 is the highest the team has been since the 2023-24 season
Juniors Walid Ahouda and Hamza El Amine are the only Cards to be featured in the doubles poll, slotted at No. 90.
