Moss, Claycomb Earn All-ACC Academic Honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville senior Sebastian Moss and sophomore Cooper Claycomb were named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference All-Academic Team, the league announced on Tuesday.
Moss graduated from Louisville with a Exercise Physiology degree, while Claycomb earned accolades as a Marketing major.Â
One of the most decorated players in school history, Moss earned all-conference honors after recording a top-20 finish at ACC Championships and was 23rd at the NCAA Regional.
Moss led the Cardinals to their sixth-consecutive regional appearance after securing individual wins at the Bearcat Invitational, the Fighting Irish Classic and the Calusa Cup.
Claycomb finished third on the team with a 72.51 stroke average, posting one top-10 finish and two in the top 20. The natove of Bowling Green, Ky., finished third at the General Hackler at 4-under-par and was one of the team's top finisher at the regional by placing 19th.
North Carolina senior David Ford has been named the 2025 Atlantic Coast Conference Rod Myers Scholar-Athlete of the Year and headlined the 2025 All-ACC Academic Men's Golf Team, announced on Tuesday, July 8.
A total of 61 student-athletes were named to the All-ACC Academic Men's Golf Team, as all 15 schools were represented. Twelve of the 16 members of the 2025 All-ACC Team also earned a spot on the All-ACC Academic Team.Â
To be eligible for the All-ACC Academic Team, student-athletes must have earned a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.0 cumulative GPA over their academic career. In addition, student-athletes must have competed in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
