Louisville Track & Field Programs Recognized as USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams

In addition to the team recognition, 18 individuals were named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team for the 2024-25 academic year.
NEW ORLEANS, La. – The University of Louisville men's and women's track & field teams both earned All-Academic Team distinction from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), as announced by the organization on Monday.
This marks the eighth consecutive season that both the men's and women's programs have been recognized by the USTFCCCA for boasting a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Over the course of the 2024-25 academic year, the Louisville women recorded a 3.612 GPA as a unit while the men finished with a cumulative GPA of 3.073.
Along with the team accolades, 18 individuals were named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team for their efforts in the classroom, with 12 women and 6 men being recognized by the organization.
Individual selections to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher and must also meet athletic criteria from either the indoor or outdoor season. For the indoor season, athletes must have finished the season ranked in the top 96 in any championship individual event or in the top 48 in any championship relay event. For the outdoor season, athletes must have participated in an NCAA Regional Preliminary Round and/or the NCAA Outdoor Championships or must have finished the season ranked in the top 48 in the East or West regions.
