
Osborne Named to CSC At-Large Academic All-District Team

AUSTIN, Texas – University of Louisville lacrosse student-athlete Ashley Osborne has been named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic At-Large All-District® team as announced by the organization.

To be eligible, an undergraduate student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and carry at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. The women's at-large team is comprised of student-athletes from beach volleyball, bowling, rowing, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing and water polo.

Osborne, a graduate student from Louisville, Ky., earned her master's degree in nursing in May 2025. The defender led the team with 25 ground balls and accumulated 106 in her career, becoming the eighth player in program history with 100 or more ground balls. In 2025, she helped the Cardinals' defense to its lowest goals against average since the 2017 season while matching up with some of our opponents' best players. After suffering a season-ending injury in 2023, she closed her career with a program record 82 career games.

She was a three-time ACC All-Academic Team selection and was named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Honor Roll in each of her seasons. Additionally, she was honored among Louisville's ACC Top 6 for Service, standing among the Cardinals' leaders in community service throughout her career.
