Six Student-Athletes Named to 2025 National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - – Six University of Louisville football players were announced Wednesday as members of the 2025 National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society.
The 2025 members from Louisville were defensive lineman Ashton Gillotte, offensive linemen Monroe Mills, Michael Gonzalez and Pete Nygra, quarterback Tyler Shough and placekicker Brock Travelstead.
An elite group of 2,532 players from 339 schools qualified for membership in 2025, also setting a national record for the number of members in a single year during the program's 19-year history. The initiative has now honored 20,946 student-athletes since its inception.
Qualifications for membership in the NFF Hampshire Honor Society include holding a 3.2 grade point average and being a starter or significant contributor in the last year of eligibility at an NCAA FBS, FCS, Division I, Division II, Division III or an NAIA college or university. Also included were graduated players who may return for another year of competition at any institution.
