OAK RIDGE, Tenn. – The University of Louisville completed the first day of the 13th annual Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite at Melton Lake in Oak Ridge, Tenn.

With severe weather impacting the area, the morning session was delayed and the evening session was cancelled, but the Cardinals were able to complete five heats against No. 16 Duke and No. 18 Notre Dame.

The eight-team field features four schools ranked in the 2024 Preseason Pocock Collegiate Rowing Association Poll in No. 15 Indiana, No. 16 Duke, No. 18 Notre Dame, No. 19 Alabama. Other participating teams include Navy, North Carolina and Wisconsin.

ORCI action will continue on Sunday with the first heat slated for 8:34 a.m. and Louisville starting at 9:22 a.m.
