2024-25: 2025 All-ACC Second Team Selection… Competed in the Music City Head Race and the Head of the Hooch in the fall as well as the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite, Sarasota 2K, SIRA Championship Regatta, Lake Wheeler Invitational and the ACC Championship in the spring… In the Music City Head Race, rowed at the No.3 seat in the Varsity 8A boat, winning the Music City Head Race with a time of 17:46.5 and rowed at the No. 3 seat, helping the Varsity 4C boat to a third-place finish… At the Head of the Hooch, rowed at the No. 6 seat in the Varsity 8 boat that finished first and at the No. 2 seat in the Varsity 4 boat that finished first out of eight… At the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite, rowed at the No. 6 seat in the Varsity 8 boat to a third place finish in its heat and at he No. 6 seat to help the Varsity 8 boat place third in its heat on Sunday… At the Sarasota 2K, rowed in the No. 5 seat in the Varsity 8 boat to a third place finish in its heat… At the SIRA Championship Regatta, rowed in the Varsity 8 boat, that finished first in its time trial, semifinal and final… At Lake Wheeler, rowed at the No. 5 seat, helping the Varsity 8 boat to a third-place finish in its heat and a fourth-place showing in Friday’s second round… Helped the V8 to a time of 6:26.227 to finish fifth in Saturday’s third round at Lake Wheeler… At the ACC Championship, rowed in the No. 6 season to help the Varsity 8 crew finish fourth in its heat, less than a second behind No. 22 Clemson (6:28.339) and ahead of SMU and Notre Dame… In Saturday’s Petite Final, the V8 clocked in at 6:21.818, just over two seconds behind first-place No. 24 North Carolina and ahead of Miami, SMU, Notre Dame and Boston College… Named to the College Sport Communicator Academic All-District Team and a CRCA Scholar Athlete… Also named to the All-ACC Academic Rowing Team and ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2023-24: Oct. 28- Alabama Head of the Black Warrior River, rowed with the V4 boat that finished first with a time of 18:27.6 in the 16-boat field which also included Miami and Alabama… At the Rivanna Romp, aboard the V8 boat that turned in a time of 13:44.9 for an eighth place finish and the V4 boat that finished 18th with a time of 15:37.4… At the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational, on the V8 boat that placed second with a time of 6:36.331 in Saturday’s evening session and placed first on Sunday, clocking in at 6:38.632… At the Sunshine State Invitational, on the V8 boat that finished fourth with a time of 7:19.56 and placed first in the petite final (6:41.56)… At the SIRA Championship helped the V8 boat finish first in its semifinal with a time of 6:39.977 and win the ‘A’ final with a time of 6:38.351… At the Lake Wheeler Invitational, on the V8 boat that placed fourth in its heat the morning session with a time of 6:56.079 and again in afternoon session (7:10.377)… the V8 boat that placed first in its heat with a time of 6:48.945 on Saturday at Lake Wheeler… At the ACC Rowing Championship, helped the V8 boat to a third place showing in the petite final with a time of 6:35.638… CRCA National Scholar Athlete… Named to ACC All-Academic Team and Academic Honor Roll
2022-23: At Rivanna Romp, Kaylie rowed the 2V8 boat that clocked in at 13:57.5 to finish in 12th in the 20-boat field. She also rowed the 4V4 boat that came in at 15:24.2 for 16th in the 28-boat field at Rivanna. In the morning session of the ORCI, she rowed in the 2V8 boat that finished third with a time of 6:44.590. In the afternoon session of the ORCI, she rowed in the 2V8 boat that finished third, turning in a 6:56.908. In the Sunday session of the ORCI, she rowed in the 2V8 boat that finished fourth, just two seconds out of third. At the Sunshine State Invitational, she rowed in the 2V8 boat to a third-place finish with a time of 6:55.46. In the grand final of the 2V8 race, she rowed the Cardinals to a seventh-place finish with a time of 6:44.80. In the head-to-head regatta against Michigan, she was aboard the 2V8 boat that finished third in 6:55.94. In the prelims of the ACC Championship in Raleigh, she rowed the 2V8 boat to a fourth-place finish with a time of 6:52.035 to advance to the petite final. She rowed the 2V8 boat to a victory in the petite final at the ACC Championships, going 6:59.787. She was named to the 2023 All-ACC Academic Team.
2021-22: At the Lake Wheeler Invitational, she helped the 3V8 boat to a third place finish with a time of 7:22.189. In the head-to-head competition with Michigan, she was in the 3V8 boat that boarded a time of 7:20.56. At the ACC Championships at Clemson, she was in the 3V8 boat that finished fifth in the grand final with a time of 6:57.125
Prep: Kaylie comes to Louisville from Clifton Park, N.Y., where she rowed for six years. She attended Shenendehowa High School. In 2018 and 2019, she qualified for Scholastic Nationals in the V8. I went to the head of the Charles in 2019 in the quad and qualified the boat for the following year. In the Spring of 2021, she was a four-time qualifier for Scholastic Nationals.
