Louisville Men's Tennis Announces 2026 Spring Schedule

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville men's tennis head coach Rodrigo da Silva has announced the 2026 spring schedule, headlined by 15 matches played at home at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.Â
The Cards are set to play a total of 29 matches in the spring with 13 matches against Atlantic Coast Conference opponents and eight matches against teams that made the NCAA tournament in 2025.ÂLouisville will kick off the season by hosting regional rival Eastern Kentucky for a doubleheader beginning at noon on Wednesday, January 14 with the second match subsequently at 5 p.m. The team will wrap up the opening home stand with Cornell on Friday of that week.
Hitting the road early on in the season, the Cards will play a double header against Northwestern and Chicago State at noon and 5 p.m. respectively. They will then return home for a pair of doubleheaders the following weekend.
The Battle of the Bluegrass will take place on Friday, Jan. 30Â in Lexington Ky. against in-state rival Kentucky with first serve set for 5 p.m. The Cards will then finish the opening non-conference schedule with home contests against Dayton (Feb. 4), Belmont (Feb.7) and Tennessee State (Feb. 7) and a road match against Middle Tennessee (Feb. 13).Â
ACC play will begin with matches against Florida powerhouses Miami on Feb. 28 and Florida State on March 1 at the BRTC. Louisville will then play host to Clemson on March 6 and Georgia Tech and Indy IU for a doubleheader on March 8.
The Cards will play at NC State and Wake Forest on March 13 and March 15 respectively before beginning their final home stand with a match against Cal on March 20 and a March 22nd doubleheader with Stanford and Bellarmine.
Louisville will wrap up its season with a five match road trip against all ACC opponents. In order, they play Boston College (March 27), SMU (March 29), Virginia Tech (April 3), Virginia (April 5) and Notre Dame (April 11).Â
