
2025-26 Indoor Track & Field Schedule Released

The Cards have 13 meets on the schedule, six of which will take place at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville Director of Track & Field and Cross Country Joe Franklin has announced the indoor track & field schedule for the 2025-26 season.
The Cardinals have a total of 13 meets on the ledger for the 2025-26 season, six of which will be contested at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville.
Louisville will begin the season with a pair of meets on Dec. 6 when a limited number of distance runners head up to Boston, Mass. for the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener while the remainder of the team stays home for the Commonwealth College Opener that will be hosted by the Kentucky Track & Cross Country Coaches Association (KTCCCA).
After the holiday break, the Cards will begin the new year with two straight competitions at the Norton SLC with Kentucky's Rod McCravy Memorial Invitational set for Jan. 9-10 and the Bellarmine Open on Jan. 16.
The Cardinals will then split up between the PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic in Louisville on January 23 and the Crossroads of America Invitational, which will take place on Jan. 23-24 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Ind.
Following the split weekend, Louisville will return to the Norton SLC on Jan. 30-31 when they play host to the sixth annual PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational, which has become one of the premier collegiate indoor meets in the nation.
The Cards will begin the month of February with most of the team competing in Louisville for one final time at the KTCCCA's Eastern Indoors on Feb. 6, while the sprinters will head up to Chicago, Ill. for the Windy City Invitational, hosted by the University of Wisconsin, on Feb. 6-7.
Louisville will wrap up the regular season with one final split weekend on Feb. 13-14, as the distance squad will head back up to Boston for the David Hemery Valentine Invitational while the remainder of the team will compete in Indianapolis at the Heartland Invitational.
Following the conclusion of the regular season, the ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships will take place on Feb. 26-28 when the meet returns to The TRACK at New Balance in Boston, Mass. for the second time in three seasons
Athletes that hold marks that rank within top 16 nationally in their individual events will then qualify for the NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships, which will close out the indoor slate on Mar. 13-14 in Fayetteville, Ark.
