Thomis Finishes in Second Place at the Blessings Collegiate; Cards End in Second Place Overall

The Cardinals finished behind Arkansas, which won the title by shooting a 3-under-par for the tournament. The Cardinals closed at 14-over-par. Brigham Young was third, Kansas State was fourth and Mississippi State was fifth. Â Louisville ended with a 289-290-289-878.Â
Warren Thomis posted his career-best finish by placing second overall after shooting even-par over the three-day period. He ended the tournament on Wednesday with an even-par 72. He recorded three birdies on the day to finish two shots off the lead.
Cooper Claycomb was the second Cards player to finish in the top five as he ended the day in fifth place after his 73 on Wednesday.Â
Easton Johnson and Brady Smith tied for 16th place. Johnson was 2-over-par on the day while Smith moved up six spots to close in a tie for 16th place after shooting a 7-over-par, while Andrew Tan moved up 14 places to 29th by his final round score of 72.
