Cards Hit the Road for Crossroads of America Invitational

The squads’ first road meet of the season will take place in Indianapolis, Ind. from Friday, January 24 to Saturday, January 25.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville track & field teams will hit the road for the first time in 2025, as they head up to Indianapolis to take part in the Crossroads of America Invitational.
The two-day meet will take place at Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion on the Indiana State Fairgrounds on Friday, January 24 and Saturday, January 25.
Friday's competition will begin at 5:00 p.m. ET with the women's long jump and women's weight throw, while track events are set to get underway at 6:00 p.m. with the preliminary rounds of the women's 60m hurdles.

The weekend in Indianapolis will pit the Cardinals against 16 other programs, eight of which compete at the Power Four level. Cincinnati will be the lone Big 12 program competing while Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Purdue, Rutgers and UCLA represent the Big Ten.
Last weekend, the Cards competed at the Bellarmine Open in Louisville, where four Louisville athletes posted marks that rank among the top 10 in program history, including KJ Byrd, who won ACC Men's Freshman of the Week honors after posting a mark of 5.10m (16-8.75) in the men's pole vault.
