
Cards Continue to Excel in the Classroom

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – While the University of Louisville student-athletes continue to perform at a high level on the field, they are also excelling in the classroom, with 559 student-athletes achieving Athletic Director's Honor Roll status in the fall semester. The honor roll recognizes student-athletes with at least a 3.0 grade point average for the semester.
UofL's student-athletes combined to produce a 3.390 GPA for the 2024 fall semester, marking the 27th straight semester with a department-wide GPA of 3.0 or better.
Red and Black Scholar honors were bestowed upon 463 student-athletes for achieving at least a 3.25 grade point average, while 93 student-athletes finished with a 4.0 GPA.
Field hockey was the top performing team led the way for Louisville's 23 sports, posting a team GPA of 3.745 during the fall. The men's golf program held the highest team GPA of UofL's men's teams at 3.619.
