
Louisville Lands Six Student-Athletes on All-ACC Academic Team

UofL is one of six programs that have six or more student-athletes on the team
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – UofL men's basketball had six student-athletes named to the 2023-24 All-ACC Academic Men's Basketball Team, the league announced Thursday afternoon.
Among the league's 68 recipients are Louisville's Brandon Huntley-Hatfield, Ty-Laur Johnson, Emmanuel Okorafor, Zan Payne, Tre White and Curtis Williams. It's Huntley-Hatfield and Payne's second career appearances on the list.
UofL has placed 54 selections on the academic team in the Cardinals' 10 years in the ACC. Louisville's six selections are the most since six earned the honor in the 2018-19 season.
Louisville is one of six programs in the ACC that had six or more student-athletes named to the team.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned at least a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.0 cumulative average during his academic career, while also appearing in at least 50% of the team's contests.
The men's basketball team has attained a collective 3.0 GPA or better for 27 of the last 31 semesters, including a 3.265 cumulative team mark for the Fall 2023 semester.
