
Cardinals Continue ACC Play at Boston College

Louisville has won each of its last two true road games
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville women's basketball team (7-5, 0-1 ACC) is off on the road as it continues ACC play this weekend. The Cardinals are shipping up to Boston to take on Boston College (10-4, 1-0 ACC) Sunday afternoon. The Cardinals and Eagles will square off from Conte Forum at 2 p.m. ET and it will be broadcast on the ACC Network.
The Cardinals are coming off a 86-67 road win over Memphis prior to the Christmas break on Dec. 21. Louisville shot very well from the field against the Tigers as it finished the game 36-for-60 (60 percent) from the floor. It was the fourth time this season the Cardinals have shot 50 percent or better from the field and it was the second time it has happened in a road game.
Freshman Tajianna Roberts had another impressive performance in the win, as she scored a career-best 23 points on 10-for-17 shooting to go with three steals and two assists. The 23 points and 10 field goals were the most by a Louisville player in a game this season. The 23 points were also the most points in a true road game by an ACC freshman last week. It was her sixth-straight game with multiple steals and the fourth time she has had three or more in a game. Roberts leads the team with 11.9 points per game and 1.9 steals per game.
Olivia Cochran owned the boards in the win over the Tigers. She tallied her second double-double of the season with 12 points and a season-best 13 rebounds. The 13 rebounds were the most by a Louisville player in a game this season and the most she has had in a game since the Elite Eight in 2023 against Iowa. Cochran leads the team this season with 6.8 rebounds per game and ranks second with 10.2 points per game.

With the win, Louisville advanced to the ACC Quarterfinals for the 10th-straight season. Nyla Harris led the team with 14 points on 6-for-12 shooting and tied the team lead with nine rebounds. Kiki Jefferson had nine points and tied Harris with a team-best nine rebounds. Sydney Taylor also had nine points and had a team-best four assists, which tied a season high.
