
Women’s Basketball Tip-Off Luncheon Set for Oct. 7

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The annual University of Louisville Women's Basketball Tip-Off Luncheon presented by Stockton Mortgage will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 7 in the Grand Ballroom of the Galt House Hotel.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m., and the event begins at noon.
Tickets are $50 each, or tables for 10 are available for $500, and can be purchased at GoCards.com/WBBTipOff. Seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Louisville opens the 2026-27 campaign on Monday, November 2, against Bellarmine at the KFC Yum! Center in a double header with the men's home opener later that evening. The Cardinals are scheduled to have 19 home games again this season and will host Final Four semifinalist UConn on Sunday, November 15. The ACC schedule will be announced in the coming weeks and the full 2026-27 schedule will be set.
The Cardinals are coming off another successful season in 2025-26, where they advanced to the Sweet 16 for the 13th time in program history. All 13 appearances in the Sweet 16 have come under head coach Jeff Walz and he is tied for third among active head coaches for Sweet 16 appearances. The Cardinals won 20-plus games for the 16th-straight season, the third longest active streak in the country. Tajianna Roberts, Elif Istanbulluoglu, Mackenly Randolph and reigning ACC Sixth Player of the Year Imari Berry headline the returners from the 25-26 season.
