ACC Announces 2026-27 Conference Schedule

The full 2026-27 schedule is now complete for the Cards
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Mark your calendars Cardinal fans as the 2026-27 Louisville Women's Basketball schedule is now complete following the announcement of the ACC schedule Wednesday afternoon.
The Cards are set to have 18 home games following the announcement of the conference slate. Six of the nine ACC home games will be played on Sunday while two of the matchups will occur before the holiday break. In conference play, the Cardinals have home matchups with five teams that made the 2026 NCAA Tournament, four teams that advanced to the second round and two teams that made the Sweet 16 or further.
Louisville has been the standard bearer for the ACC since they joined the league in 2014-15. The Cardinals lead the ACC with 166 wins and a .814 winning percentage in conference games over the past 12 season. The Cards have won 12 or more ACC games in each of the previous 12 seasons. No other ACC school has won 10 or more ACC games in each of the previous 12 seasons. Louisville has finished in the Top 5 of the league standings in each of the past 12 seasons, the only team in the conference to do so.
The Cards open up the ACC slate on Sunday, December 13, when they host Miami at the KFC Yum! Center. Louisville is 11-3 all-time against the Hurricanes and have won the last four matchups.
The final game before the holiday break will be on Sunday, December 20, when the Cards host Clemson. The Cardinals are undefeated against the Tigers during their tenure in the ACC and 15-3 overall.
First up after the holiday break will be a road contest at Boston College on Thursday, December 31. The Cardinals are undefeated against Boston College since they joined the ACC and have won 19-straight games against the Eagles.
Louisville returns home on Sunday, Jan. 3, to host Cal in the Yum! Center. The Cards have won both matchups with the Golden Bears since they joined the ACC. Last year, Louisville defeated Cal, 71-59, in Berkeley to set the program record for best start to ACC play at 11-0.
The Cards head back on the road to take on Florida State in Tallahassee on Thursday, January 7. The Cards have won five-straight games over the Seminoles, including last year's 88-65 win at home.
The Cards return home to close out the week as they host North Carolina on Sunday, January 10. Louisville is 11-6 all-time against the Tar Heels and won both matchups last season. The Cards won the overtime thriller, 76-66, in Chapel Hill and then defeated the Tar Heels in the semifinals of the ACC Tournament.
A two-game road swing is next as the Cards travel to Pitt on Thursday, January 14 and Virginia Tech on Sunday, January 17. The Cards have won 25-straight games over the Panthers and are undefeated against them in ACC play. Louisville defeated Virginia Tech 85-60 last season as Coach Walz picked up his 500th career win.
Up next is the first of two matchups with Notre Dame on the season. The Cardinals will host the Irish at the Yum! Center on Thursday, January 21.
The Cards will head back down to the Lone Star state as they take on SMU in Dallas on Sunday, January 24. The Cards are 4-1 all-time against the Mustangs and have won both matchups since they joined the ACC.
The Cards are set to host Stanford next on Thursday, January 28 at the Yum! Center. They are 3-1 all-time against the Cardinal and have won both matchups since they joined the ACC.
A two-game road swing is next following the first of two bye dates for the Cardinals. They open the road trip with a matchup against Wake Forest on Thursday, February 4 and then close it out with Virginia on Sunday, February 7. The Cardinals are 13-1 all-time against the Demon Deacons and 13-4 all-time against the Cavaliers.
The next two games will be at home for the Cards as they host Syracuse on Thursday, February 11 and Georgia Tech on Sunday, February 14. The Cardinals won both games against the Orange last season and are 23-8 all-time against Syracuse. Louisville is 13-0 all-time in games against Georgia Tech.
A road matchup in Durham is up next on Thursday, February 18. The Cardinals knocked off the Blue Devils, 70-62, the last time these two met in Durham during the 2024-25 season.
The final home game of the regular season is on deck when the Cardinals host NC State on Sunday, February 21. Last season, the Cards took down the Wolfpack, 88-80, in overtime as Imari Berry scored a career-high 33 points in the win.
After their final bye date of the season, the Cardinals will close out the season on the road as they face Notre Dame on Sunday, February 28. Last season the Cards defeated Notre Dame up in South Bend, 79-66.
The 2027 ACC Women's Basketball Championship will follow the conclusion of the regular season. The tournament will be held at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte from March 3-7.
