
Louisville to Play Opening Exhibition at Home Monday

Cardinals will play Young Harris in the KFC Yum! Center at 7 p.m.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville men's basketball will play Young Harris College in its opening exhibition at home in the KFC Yum! Center on Monday, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. ET. The game will stream on ACC Network Extra.

The contest will be the first in the KFC Yum! Center in the new Pat Kelsey era. The 2024-25 roster features 16 newcomers and one returning letterwinner.

It's the Cardinals' first of two home exhibitions in October before officially tipping off the season against in-state foe MoreÂhead State on Nov. 4.

Louisville took a foreign tour trip to the Bahamas in late July to play two exhibition games in the Baha Mar Hoops Summer League. The Cards beat Bahamas Select 111-59 and the University of Calgary 111-71.

- The Cardinals hold a connection to Young Harris head coach Jeremy Currier through two coaches on their own staff. During his coaching tenure, Currier coached at Pfieffer University in North Carolina shortly after Cards' assistant coach Thomas Carr played and graduated from there. UofL assistant coach Brian Kloman and Currier also coached together at Daniel Webster College.
