
Four Golfers Named to All-ACC Academic Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Four University of Louisville men's golfers were named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Team, the league announced Tuesday.
Pierce Grieve, Mads Roddik, Sebastian Moss and Andrew Tan were recognized by the league for their efforts in the classroom and on the course.
A finance major, Grieve appeared in seven events last season and posted a 75.67 stroke average. The sophomore posted a seventh-place finish at Inverness Intercollegiate and also finished 19th at the Bearcat Invitational.
Moss, a finance major, posted a solid 71.72 stroke average and had five top-10 endings during the 2022-23 season. In his first regional appearance, Moss tied for 17th after carding a 3-over-par 219.
A junior-college transfer, Roddik was a starter for the Cardinals in the spring. The sophomore carded a 74.80 stroke average, with a season-best 14th-place finish at the All-American.
Tan, who also majored in finance, appeared in seven events for the Cards last season. The rookie finished with a 75.67 stroke average and recorded one top-25 finish by placing in a tie for 21st at the Bearcat Invitational.
Academic requirements for selection to the team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must have competed in 50 percent of their team's contests and/or the ACC Championships and/or the NCAA Championships during the most recent season.
