Mayew Earns First ATP Point

Will Mayew picks up a win in the ITF Futures M25 Pensacola Tournament to earn his first career ATP point
The University of Louisville's Will Mayew opened the summer by earning his first ATP point at the International Tennis Federation Futures M25 Pensacola Tournament on May 18.
The Cary, N.C., native defeated Elijah Poritzky 6-1, 6-3 in the first round before falling 6-1, 6-3 to Lorenzo Claverie in the second round.
Mayew recently completed his freshman season with 11 singles wins and a perfect 4-0 record in dual matches. He also posted 13 doubles victories and teamed with David Mizrahi for a runner-up finish in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Ohio Valley Regional. The duo also reached as high as No. 39 in the national doubles rankings.
