Three Cards Named to the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Three University of Louisville football players were to the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society on Friday.
Defensive linemen Yaya Diaby and Ramon Puryear, and quarterback Brock Domann received honors. The three qualified qualified for the honor society by being a graduating player who completed his final year of eligibility, has an undergraduate GPA of 3.2 or better and been a starter or significant contributor this season.
"We are thrilled to honor another impressive group of athletes as part of this year's Hampshire Honor Society," said NFF President & CEO Steve Hatchell. "Over the last 17 years, the Hampshire Honor Society has served as a powerful vehicle for schools to recognize their college football players who have distinguished themselves both academically and athletically, and we congratulate the schools and each of these young men for their commitment to excellence in all aspects of their lives."
Diaby, who was a starter on the defensive line, earned third team All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors after finishing second on the team in tackles for loss with 14 and sacks with nine. The senior was invited to the Senior Bowl and also competed in the NFL Combine.
The native of Atlanta, Ga., graduated with a degree in criminal justice.
Puryear, a business administration major, played in all 13 games last season, and is a key returnee on the 2023 team. Â He finished the season with 14 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.
A sports administration major, Domann took over for the injured Malik Cunningham and guided the Cards to a bowl win over Cincinnati. He closed the season with 958 yards and four touchdown passes. Â
