Men's Indoor Track & Field Places 16 on All-ACC Academic Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The University of Louisville men's track and field team placed 16 student-athletes on the All-ACC Indoor Track and Field Academic Teams, as announced by the league office on Tuesday.
Of the 16 student-athletes honored, 12 earned Red and Black scholar status for earning a GPA of at least 3.25 in the fall semester, while Ethan Alyea, Erik Fertig, and Luke Nichols boasted a 4.0 GPA last fall.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Indoor Track and Field Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must have competed in the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships and/or the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships during the most recent season.
