Cards Travel to Florida State, Miami for ACC Road Matches

Cards will start a four-match road swing at No. 17 Florida State and No. 58 Miami this weekend
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's tennis team will hit the road for a pair of Atlantic Coast Conference matches at No. 17 Florida State Friday and No. 58 Miami Sunday.

The Cardinals (10-5, 1-3 ACC) stand at No. 29 in the most recent ITA team rankings released on March 14. Last weekend, they split a pair of conference matches, falling 4-2 against then-No. 13 Virginia on Friday and defeating No. 51 Virginia Tech 6-1 on Sunday.
Following this weekend, Louisville will continue its ACC road swing at No. 16 Wake Forest and NC State.

Florida State
Series Record: Florida State leads 6-2
Last Meeting: March 20, 2022 – Louisville won 4-3 at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.
Scouting the Seminoles: No. 17 Florida State brings a 10-5 overall record and a 2-2 mark in ACC play into Friday's match. The Seminoles are coming off of a 7-0 at North Carolina Central. Prior to that, they lost 4-0 at then-No. 32 NC State in the first of the two Sunday matches. Last Friday, FSU defeated then-No. 14 Wake Forest 4-2 in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Miami
Series Record: Louisville leads 5-4
Last Meeting: Jan. 29, 2023 – Louisville won 4-1 in Athens at the ITA Kickoff Weekend
Scouting the Hurricanes: Miami enters the weekend with an 8-6 overall record and an 0-4 mark in ACC play prior to a Friday match against Notre Dame. The Hurricanes are coming off of a pair of losses at then-No. 32 NC State and No. 14 Wake Forest last weekend.

Sophomore Natan Rodrigues rounds out the ranked singles players at No. 60 with a 16-7 overall record, going 5-4 in dual matches.
- The current ACC Co-Doubles Team of the Week, Rodrigues and Salle stand at No. 28 in the doubles rankings. They have teamed for a 22-6 record and are 6-2 as Louisville's top-seeded team.
