No. 23 Cards Play Host to Belmont Saturday at 2 p.m.

Cards will open a five-match home stand when they play host to No. 74 Belmont Saturday at 2 p.m.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The No. 23-ranked University of Louisville men's tennis team will play host to No. 74 Belmont Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.

The Cardinals bring an 8-2 overall record and a three-match win streak into Saturday's contest following a 4-0 win at Indiana last weekend. Louisville boasts three singles players in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings with senior Etienne Donnet leading the way at No. 24 while carrying a 16-3 overall record and a perfect 9-0 mark in dual matches. Sophomore Natan Rodrigues stands at No. 44 with a 15-5 overall record and a 4-2 mark in dual matches. Senior Fabien Salle brings a 15-6 overall tally and is 3-2 in dual matches.

Salle and Rodrigues stand at No. 14 in the ITA doubles rankings. The duo has teamed for a 19-5 overall record and is 3-1 as the Cardinals' top-seeded pair.

Scouting the Bruins: Belmont (5-1) entered the ITA rankings at No. 74. The Bruins started the season with five straight wins over Lee, Austin Peay, Lipscomb, Chattanooga and UNC Ashville before falling at Vanderbilt last weekend.

Following Saturday's match, the Cardinals will stay at home for four straight ACC matches starting with No. 22 Duke on March 3 at 4 p.m.
