Vanroose Qualifies for U20 European Cross Country Championships

HULSHOUT, Belgium – University of Louisville cross country freshman Rhune Vanroose competed at the Belgium Cross Country Championships on Sunday morning, placing third in the women's junior race.
With the third-place finish, Vanroose punched her ticket to the U20 European Cross Country Championships, which will take place on Dec. 10 in Brussels, Belgium.
The native of Buggenhout, Belgium competed in three meets for the Cardinals during the fall cross country season, recording a personal-best 6K time of 21:06.2 at the Arturo Barrios Invitational.
