Six Cardinals will compete in Notre Dame Invitational to end fall tennis season

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – UofL men's tennis will finish off its fall season as a team at the Notre Dame Invitational at the Courtney Tennis Center in South Bend, Ind., beginning on Friday.

The tournament has a hidden dual format as Louisville will take on a different collegiate team each day, Thursday through Sunday.

Louisville will be traveling six Cardinals: Natan Rodrigues, Kosuke Nakanishi, Miguel Avendaño, Andre Steinbach and Matt Fung.

Louisville men's tennis has had a strong fall season, with multiple individual achievements at national tournaments like the ITA All-Americans and ITF M15 in Tallahassee. The Cardinals had only one other hidden dual tournament this fall: their opening invitational at Pepperdine where Louisville faced top-ranked talent in Michigan, Kentucky and Pepperdine.
