Donnet Falls in Quarterfinals at ITF M15

Etienne Donnet, Will Mayew conclude competition in Tallahassee
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Fifth-year senior Etienne Donnet and sophomore Will Mayew completed their time at the International Tennis Federation (ITF) M15 in Tallahassee, Fla.
The duo both ended up in the main draw of the international tournament, beginning both singles and doubles on Tuesday.
Donnet and Mayew teamed up in doubles and won in the Round of 16 6-1, 4-6, 10-3. They fell in the doubles quarterfinals to the top pair in the tournament in straight sets.
Both Cardinals won their opening round match ups in the Round of 32 before Mayew fell to the No. 8 seed Felix Corwin in straight sets.
Donnet won his Round of 16 match handily, 6-2, 6-2, on Thursday to move onto the quarterfinals.
In the quarterfinals on Friday, Donnet fell to top-seeded Jeremy Jin 6-3, 6-2.
The Cardinals will wrap up fall action with the Notre Dame Invitational, November 3-5.
