
RV/RV Cardinals Set for Sunday Clash with #20/18 NC State

The matchup between the Cardinals and Wolfpack will air nationally on ABC
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The RV/RV Louisville women's basketball team is gearing up for a ranked matchup to close out the two-game homestand on Sunday. The Cardinals welcome the #20/18 NC State Wolfpack to the KFC Yum! Center for a nationally televised showdown. The Cardinals and Wolfpack are set to square off at 1 p.m. on Sunday and the game will be aired on ABC.
The Cardinals are coming off a 73-65 home win over Boston College on Thursday. The win was Louisville's 14th-straight home ACC win, a streak that dates back to the 2020-21 season. It is the longest conference home winning streak for the Cardinals since they joined the ACC. It is also the longest home conference win streak under head coach Jeff Walz since he took over in 2007-08.
Hailey Van Lith led the Cardinals against the Eagles with a game-high 24 points and added six rebounds. Van Lith is the only player in the ACC to score 18 or more points in each conference game this season. She has scored 20 or more points in seven of the eight ACC matchups. In conference games, she leads the ACC with 22.8 points per game and ranks fourth with 4.3 assists per game. She is also sixth in the conference with a 46.9 field goal percentage.
Chrislyn Carr had 18 points against the Eagles and was 4-for-6 from behind the arc in the win. Carr is one of the most prolific three-point shooters in the ACC and the country this season. She leads the league and is seventh in the country with a 48.2 shooting percentage. She has shot 50 percent or better from three in nine of her last 10 games. She leads the team with 54 threes on the season, a mark that leads the ACC and ranks 13th nationally.
Mykasa Robinson set the school record for career games played against the Eagles. She played her 145th game in a Cardinal uniform, surpassing Jazmine Jones' record of 144. In the win over the Eagles, Robinson scored eight points, had four rebounds, four assists and two steals. She has had multiple steals in four of her last five games and leads the team with 33 steals on the season.

The Wolfpack are coming off a 71-61 home win over Miami this past Thursday.
