
Adar Sheere Wins Discus Throw on Final Day of Tennessee Relays

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Adar Sheere won the college men's discus throw with a personal-best mark of 58.04m (190-5) on his fourth attempt.
The throw was the third best performer mark in program history and surpassed his previous personal best of 57.69m (189-3) set at the 2019 NCAA East Region Preliminaries by over a foot.
Katherine Coffey and Maddie Horne kicked off the final day of competition by claiming two of the top three spots in the college women's discus throw. Coffey recorded a runner-up toss of 48.56m (159-4), while Horne recorded a personal-best of 48.36m (158-8) for third.
Grigoris Nikolaou posted a second-place finish in the college men's triple jump with a mark of 14.28m (48-6) on his second attempt.
Louisville was forced to scratch from multiple events due to inclement rain and wind.
The Cardinals will remain home next weekend to host the Louisville Invitational April 15-16 at Owsley B. Frazier Cardinal Park.
