Day 2 featured 3-Meter for women and 1-meter for men in Ann Arbor

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Louisville diver Else Praasterink advanced to the finals of the women's 3-Meter springboard at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships Tuesday inside Donald B. Canham Natatorium on the campus of the University of Michigan. The Cardinals will dive platform on Wednesday beginning at 11 a.m.

For the UofL women, ACC medallist Else Praasterink advanced to the finals after posting a preliminary score of 288.50 to qualify 12th on the 3-Meter springboard. In the finals she moved up a spot to 11th with a cumulative score of 583.55.

On the men's side, in the 1-Meter springboard, Daniel Pinto put up a 274.20 to finish 24th, followed by Adam Sneden's 270.10 and Che Stephens' 255.20 in prelims.

UP NEXT
The NCAA Zone C Diving Championships enters its final day Wednesday (March 9), with the Platform dive scheduled as the concluding event. The top 11 men's and top nine women's finishers will earn automatic qualifiers to the national meet.
