SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Wednesday:Â 200 medley relay, 800 free relay
Thursday:Â 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free, 200 free relay
Friday:Â 400 IM, 100 fly, 200 free, 100 breast, 100 back, 400 medley relay
Saturday: 1650 free, 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, 200 fly, 400 free relay

ATLANTA, Ga. -- The No. 7-ranked University of Louisville women's swimming and diving team, which is sending a school record 15 swimmers to the 2022 Women's NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships, are blasting off the blocks beginning today in Atlanta, Georgia at Georgia Tech's McAuley Aquatic Center.  Â
In total, there will be 322 participants at this year's championships, which will be made up of 281 swimmers and 41 divers. Divers will be determined following the Zones, which will be held March 7-9.

All five of the Cardinals' relay teams made the field with all of them ranked in the Top 20 in qualifying times, led by the sixth-ranked 200 Free Relay team.  Distance specialist Liberty Williams showcases the deep Cardinal field with a No. 2 ranking in the 1650 and No. 9 in the 500 free. Other top 16 ranked swimmers include Abby Hay (12th in 200 IM, and 15th in the 200 fly), Gabi Albiero (10th in the 50 free, 7th in the 100 butterfly and 12th in the 100 free), Rye Ulett put up the 12th fastest time in the 200 back amongst the qualifiers.

The UofL divers must qualify by coming out of their Zone Qualifiers. The Cardinal divers head to Ann Arbor to compete March 7-9. ACC Silver medalist in the platform, Else Praasterink will spearhead the Cards diving crew.
