Andrea Di Palma advances in singles; Di Palma and Tatiana Simova advance in doubles
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The University of Louisville women's tennis team has one doubles pair and a singles player still competing at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional held at the University of Tennessee.

Andrea Di Palma, who is seeded No. 9, advanced to the next round of singles play with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Yunuen Elizarraras from ETSU. Maria Campos fell to Marcella Cruz from Vanderbilt 6-2, 7-5. Rhea Verma lost to Lidia Gonzalez from the University of Kentucky 7-5, 6-4.

No. 3- seeded Di Palma and Tatiana Simova defeated Cassie Mclay and Elizabeth Pendergast from the University of Cincinnati 8-4. The No. 2-seeded duo of Camps and Verma fell to Annika Pschorr and Natalie Slezakova from Murray State 8-5. Jamilah Snells and Cici Xin lost a closely contested match against Lara Schneider and Sabhyata Nihalani 8-7 (10-8).

Di Palma and Simova will compete in doubles on Oct. 21 at 10:00 a.m. ET against Denise Torrealba and Yu-Hua Cheng from APSU. Di Palma will compete in singles on Oct. 21 at 11:30 a.m. against Esther Adeshina from the University of Tennessee.Â
