
Cole Invited to NFL Combine

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville safety Qwynnterrio Cole has been invited to participate in the 2022 NFL Draft Combine to be staged in Indianapolis, Ind., on March 1-7.
Cole played one season at Louisville, finishing second on the team in tackles with 86. The Memphis, Tenn. native recorded a UofL high of 15 tackles versus Kentucky and had four other games of seven of more tackles. Cole recorded his first interception at Wake Forest and was third on the team with six pass break-ups.
An All-ACC Honorable Mention selection last year, Cole started all 13 games after playing three seasons at Alcorn State, where he earned numerous accolades.
While with the Braves, Cole was a two-time HBCU All-American and an All-SWAC First Team All-Conference selection in 2019. He led the defense with five interceptions in 2019 and was third on the squad in tackles with 86. He was credited with 10 tackles in the SWAC Championship against Southern and registered 10 tackles versus Alabama A&M. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound defensive back recorded two interceptions in the victory over Prairie View A&M.
In 2018, Cole earned HBCU All-American and All-Conference First-Team honors and was named to the HERO Sports Sophomore All-America Team after finishing with 77 tackles.
