Men's Track & Field No. 24 in USTFCCCA National Team Rankings

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville men's track and field team is ranked 24th in the first installment of the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Indoor Track and Field National Rating Index, announced Monday. Â

With three qualifying marks in the top-seven nationally, the Cardinals come into the initial poll with a point total of 41.75. Paul Kallenberg's 5594 points at the Hokie Invitational ranks third in the men's heptathlon, while Trey Allen rounds out the top-five in the men's high jump with a height of 2.18m (7-1.85) at the Cardinal Classic. Jeremiah Willis comes in with the seventh-best long jump mark at 7.71m (25-3.5), which he achieved at the Blazer Invitational. Â

Sterling Warner-Savage's time of 6.68 60m at the Hokie Invitational last weekend stands at 23rd nationally, while Isiah Pantiere's school record 200m time of 21.22 at the Cardinal Classic ranks 28th. Â

The Cardinals will host the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational this Saturday, Jan. 29 at Norton Healthcare Sports and Learning Center.
