TEAM NOTES

Louisville is now 14-11 all-time against NC State and the loss snaps a three-game winning streak over NC State for the Cardinals.
Louisville got a season-high 52 points off its bench in the loss, its most since scoring 63 against Southern on Nov. 13, 2018.
- UofL's leading scorer has come off the bench in six games this season.
- All three of Louisville's double-digit scorers on Wednesday came off the bench.
The Cardinals had their best shooting half of the season in the second half on Wednesday, shooting 60.9 percent (14-for-23) after halftime.
- It was the highest shooting percentage in a half for the Cardinals since shooting 65 percent (13-of-20) in the second half against Prairie View A&M on Nov. 29, 2020.
Louisville suffered its first loss this season when outrebounding the opponent (32-28 vs. NC State). The Cardinals were 8-0 prior to Wednesday.

PLAYER NOTES

Sydney Curry turned in his best game in a Louisville uniform with 22 points and 10 rebounds in 24 minutes, all season-highs.
- Curry entered Wednesday night with 33 points on the season in 12 games played.
- Curry had 14 double-figure scoring efforts in his 18 games as a sophomore at John A. Logan College.
- The 22 points matched the highest total by a Cardinal in any game this season (Ellis at Michigan State and Williams vs. DePaul).
- Curry is averaging 12.0 points and 8.0 rebounds over the last three games.
- Curry was 10-for-13 from the field on Wednesday, and is now 24-for-33 (72.7 percent) for the season.
Noah Locke scored 13 points and matched his season highs of four rebounds and three assists in his first game of the season coming off the bench.
- Locke has scored in double figures 11 times this season.
Dre Davis finished with 13 points for his sixth double-digit scoring game of the season.
